Maryland has the highest prevalence of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias in the United States. An estimated 12.9% of adults aged 65+ are living with the condition—and Baltimore City is among the hardest-hit areas in the country.

These six-week retreats support individuals recently diagnosed with dementia and their care partners. Participants engage in social activities, educational sessions, and emotional support.
